Sundays walk started early but at a much more leisurely pace with a lovely morning brew thanks to Bev in her and Steve's van. We took in the lovely tracks through the forest from the Loch Morlich to the emerald loch where a quick dip was tempting, but too much for us except for Hal, who dashed in and out of the amazing emerald loch while we all looked on in envy.
The route took us out of the forest into the ever more glorious sunshine up the hill to Ryvoan bothy where we enjoyed a lovely stop for a piece of flap jack and a cuppa before we cleared up the left behind rubbish, and headed along the undulating footpath back to Glenmore Lodge passing many Sunday morning walkers, bike riders and general outdoor enthusiasts, before the walk took us along the road back to the car park. A lovely Sunday morning 10 km route. A grand way to finish the winter weekend.
