    So “Shakespeare he’s at Almscliff, with his pointed shoes and his bells” (probably explains some of the polish)

    But in my book it beats being “stuck inside of Brimham with the midge-bite blues again”

    I shall also attempt to get to Almscliff – however I am rather dependent on the good offices of someone with transport to drive me there as I am rather carelessly carless today.

    I will be ready at 07.25.
    I will bring all 4 OS 1:25,000 maps of the Lakes.
    I have seen Sparky participate in driving before. He is quite competent (as long as Dave is in charge of the pedals).

    There will be (for certain this week) a vehicle leaving the Fox at 16.45 headed for Scugdale.

    Anyone wishing to hitch a ride etc pls speak now… etc
