    Great, so that 9 people so far. I’ll email the hut now and get it booked, but someone else may need to pick this up while I’m away.

    It looks like the Helyg Hut in Ogwen is free for the weekend of 15/16 October – it sleeps 13 and has good facilities, so provided no one strenuously objects) I’ll book it.

    13 places mixed, facilities include hot water, showers, heating, drying room, cutlery, crockery, fridges, oven, hobs, and microwave, £12 per night.

    We’re on our way to Caley – staying there until around 7pm. If the rain doesn’t clear it’ll be a retreat to Almscliff or the wall.

    It sounds like a few would be interested in Wales, and we haven’t had a trip there for a while. I’ll look into possible huts / bunkhouses.
