    Just to say thanks to everyone involved last night. Especially Andrew for his display board ! I left with an understanding of avalanche transceivers and revision of search patterns, a very cheap deadman belay plus a much better understanding of how to use one. I’m nearly convinced re buffalo jackets and paramo…but not quite . Oh and Dave M I might let you have your pitons back at the Winter w/e…might.

    Thanks Andrew, I agree its a great idea. I will be there with a range hardware old and new to discuss. I look forward to a bit of a debate about paramo/layers…I’m not sold..and the perennial waterproof trousers discussion. This really is a good event for new or newer members as well, as we have time for a chat over a sandwich.

    Hi

    I’ll be going and Pen is debating going but I’ll use the van and if needed come to an arrangement with the bunkhouse owner as last year. So places to sleep in the bunkhouse will be unaffected.

    Sounds great Steve, as discussed you think a van can get up there but not a car ? PJ and I will be coming.
    Also what are the payment details ?
