I’ll be heading there. Time tbc
JohnBlockedPenny and I wont be coming this evening, which is a shame because I’d love a debate about the hypocrisy of multi-million £ bands and the festering drug pandering music industry versus the not for profit social interest group encouraging a healthy lifestyle thing. Of course we could extend it to the environment and the damage the cotton tea shirts and printing mediums are doing Globally but then by the end of it we would have to burn all our clothes and climbing equipment 🙂
JohnBlockedHi
Just some forewarning re the weekend weather. The forecast alters almost hourly so changeable is an understatement. Saturday remains fairly dismal in outlook across the board with rain accompanied by high winds and cloud down to 500m to 700m but it does show it improving in the evening and into Sunday. There remains a chance of climbing at Holyhead late Saturday and into Sunday and probably on the super crag at Holyhead Mountain but I’d wait and see what the wind effect is on the water before heading to the sea cliffs. Climbing at Tremadog may be OK late Saturday into Sunday but it depends on how well the cliffs drain after the rain; we can always drop the grades. Walking and scrambling could be challenging if the strong winds persist on the Saturday but again Sunday looks hopeful. All in all bring wet/cold but not freezing weather kit and kit for activity from walking (running or cycling if that’s your bag) and climbing obviously. And Pen says if you are into your Namaste bring your yoga mat and get bendy. It should be an amusing weekend.
