After an interesting stroll up there last night, does anyone fancy Hagg Wood up by Richmond? As I found out last night, it’s a good place to shelter from a thunderstorm (!)…

Some of the climbing looked fun (it’s all single pitch) with a good range of grades. It’s a bit green in parts and parking and the approach is a bit of a faff but other than that it looks fun.

Hmm, 6.30 may be ambitious…if I don’t make it, don’t worry and I’ll be back in N Yorks after August.

    Have fun!

I’ll try and make Almscliff by 6.30.

Any other night would have been perfect for me to join you (from Catterick) but I have to head home to Halifax after tonight’s climbing and Park Nab is a little bit out of range for me. Hope you have a great time.

I’ll probably be driving up from Leeds. Almscliff works best for me if I’m honest and I’d look to get there at about 6.
