Hi Everyone
Looking forward to the weekend!
As there are now quite a few of us coming I wanted to put out a call for big pans for the curry! Not sure what they have there Jen? But if anyone has big soup style pans that we could make a big batch of curry in that will be great. There will be meat, vegan and fish options.
Thanks!
Erin
Erin OutramBlockedHi Jenny
Don’t worry I’ll make sure we have plenty for you to eat but if you have particular staples then please do bring bits along. However I’ll make sure we’ve got vegan pizza and curry and sandwich fillings etc for you.
Erin OutramBlockedBrilliant thanks Jen!
Erin OutramBlockedHi Everyone
Hope you’re all having a good weekend.
So, I am dealing with the good bit. The food. I would be really grateful if you could all chip in £10 towards food for the weekend. For that you’ll get:
– Pizza and chips (chunky and skinny depending on what you’re into) on Friday night
– Porridge, toast and all the trimmings for breakfast both days
– picnic lunch for both days, I’ll be getting bread and various fillings, crisps, fruit and snack bars and it will be a case of diving in and making your own on the mornings.
– curry and all the trimmings and sides for Saturday night
– tea and coffee
I’ll bring some decent coffee and our cafetière but if anyone else has one to bring that would be great.
If you are partial to an alcoholic tipple after a day in the Welsh hills then please bring your own. Equally if anyone is actually a secret baking god and has an urge to bring cake, it wouldn’t be turned down.
I’ll be catering for vegetarians and meat eaters. If you have any other dietary requirements please let me know.
Games! Because nothing breaks the ice like a game of twister if anyone wants to bring any games, please do. I’ll bring speak out and 5 second rule for those indulging in the alcoholic beverages detailed above. We will also bring our wireless speaker for the dancers and singers amongst us.
My bank details for the food fund are as follows:
Erin Outram
Account number: 77912335
Sort code: 09-01-28
Or you can just give us cash at the weekend or to Nick on Thursday night.
I am planning to do a trail run first thing on Saturday morning from where we are staying, no more than an hour to start the day before a day of climbing. The more the merrier, steady pace, stops when needed and probably flapjack breaks.
Looking forward to seeing you all on Friday!
