ModeratorI’ll be at Almscliff at about 4:30 if I can remember how to get there. I’m sure that l can find the wall but will have to consult with guide to determine position of the Knavesmire. See you tomorrow. Dave M

ModeratorI can go early, probably Wednesday but I have to return on Sunday for work on Monday morning. I’ve never been to Skye before so looking forward to the trip but no firm idea about what is best to aim for. I’ll see you before then to discuss.

ModeratorLooking forward to it Dave, sign me in for a piece of Birthday cake but pre-warn the fire service if you’re going to have candles on it. I’m out of the country until next Wednesday and intend to head across to the hut on Friday morning so if anyone wants a lift or to car share please let me know. I have to return home on Sunday morning. I have no specific climbs in mind and no idea what the weather will do so will load the car full of everything including some firewood just in case. See you there.

ModeratorSteve Murray and I are heading up on Thursday afternoon, optimistically aiming for an early start to Schneacda on Friday and see how things go after that. We are booked into Craigower Lodge for Thursday and Friday night. Could be a long drive for a short wet walk to the pub but we’ll have our climbing gear with us, just in case.

ModeratorLoch and myself are still looking at the weather and pondering. I think I’ll probably go up on Thursday lunchtime anyway and have to head south again on Sunday. Will have space in the car for one or two northbound or southbound if required. Craigower Lodge in Newtonmore has accommodation available at £17.00 a night per person, self catering. link to website is : http://www.newtonmore.com/places-to-stay/hostels/craigower-lodge.html
Got some new cams and hexes today so I’ve got to give them a run out asap.Dave M
