    Re Giles’ suggestions – I like the sound of Jack’s Rake as I’m keen to get more scrambling under my belt and haven’t yet done that route.

    If conditions allow, Sharp Edge has been on my ‘to do’ list for a while too.

    I can’t get up to Lakes til Friday eve but don’t need to rush home on Sunday.

    I’m not sure how you normally makes plans as this is my first trip… I’m not as climber, very much in the hiker/ scrambler zone.

    Hello – I am new to the club but keen to come along, count me in. I can’t leave York before 4pm but can drive and happy to offer lifts. I’m up for some scrambling/ hiking and could potentially do some fell running if my knees allow!
