There was certainly a plan for Ilkley last week, but of course it was rained off. My thought of Almscliff was because it will dry quickly (and wind is forecast to drop away this afternoon) and we can nip to the wall if it does rain. If there’s a strong preference for Ilkley I’d tag along, but with Ilkley Moor full of rainwater, I suspect the rock may stay wetter (?). The bracken in Rocky valley will be wet too !

We are hosts to two small visitors this weekend. There are definitely climbing ambitions, but probably focussed on the back of the sofa at this stage.

Tenk we’ll text you once under way. Loch is very keen on the Settle thing: however if the traffic is sticky getting north of Harrogate, it may be more practical to get to Bull Scar. (Conistone)
My RV with daughter at Brimham is 7.30. Might get there earlier than that; however sounds like anyone arriving earlier can hook up with Sam

Change of plan for us. Paul the Weatherman on telly says it will all stay dry, so Loch has persuaded me to go to Scugdale. Leaving (with Angela too I think) at 4.20

I will report for duty at the Knavesmire at 16.40…… two weeks running at the climbing wall in JULY is certainly a dull thing. At least Brimham was good on Tuesday.
