    Hi Linda
Yes. We need to collect Penny at New Lane afterwards, so can you please walk up to the bollards at the end of Vyner Street. I will be on the Vyner Street side of the bollards at 4.35

Peri… Unless folk hare off around the roadside boulders, the core of Caley is quite a small place really so I’d be pretty sure that once at the Sugar Loaf boulder, or just beyond, you’ll pick up our screams and groans from somewhere.

I plan to leave at 4.40 so Penny and I should get there about 5.45 I expect.

Paul the Weatherman (Look North) says sunny start tomorrow, clouding over with a light shower mid-day, then clearing up with a very small shower risk in the evening

I think it is probably Wall time, unless there is a surprise deliverance later in the afternoon.
I shall be leaving Heworth about 5.20 if anyone wants a later lift.

So as the pendulum has swung so strongly this year, the course has 12 participants before any deposits are taken !! And a couple of slightly disappointed ‘reserves”
Therefore the Club has agreed that we each just pay £75 rather than faffing with refunds.
Obviously this relies on all 12 payments being received so that the cost of the course is fully covered. . So Phil will email out the payment details and ask for your £75 within 14 days please

    well done all

My sentiments entirely. I’ve said before that I ought to be more interested in my companions having First Aid knowledge, than having it myself.
That said, we have never run a course entirely from York MC, and we have always opened it up to other organisations after the initial offer, in order to fill all the places. Last year, we could not raise more than 4 York MC members and the course did not run, and I felt anxious this year that I might have to scurry round for “external” help. So we’ve gone from famine to feast in that sense.
But last call it is, now
