    Thanks so much everyone! Very informative! I would be interested Penny! I’m not going to make it to the wall tonight but should be next week so could do some more panning and research at the pub perhaps?

    Great, I’ll involve you in any discussions and plans going forward. It won’t be till next year and I guess February would be a good month depending on courses and availability – plenty of time to plan.

    I should make the wall tonight but that will be my last time for 6 weeks as I’m in New Zealand but we can pick this up after that.

    I am extending my Newtonmore weekend as I did earlier in the year, for ice climbing on Ben Nevis, staying at the Cic hut,there are still places available if any members are interested.

    I’ve just looked at availability at the CIC hut and it’s now fully booked. Shame. Despite the lack of space in the hut, I’m more than happy to head north before the weekend or extend after and stay wherever is best. Whether mountaineering, climbing or taking in the view, I’m happy to go. I will be at the first aid course next weekend and my attendance on Thursdays will improve within a couple of weeks from today when I become a man of leisure (sort of)
