    Steve Murray and I are heading up on Thursday afternoon, optimistically aiming for an early start to Schneacda on Friday and see how things go after that. We are booked into Craigower Lodge for Thursday and Friday night. Could be a long drive for a short wet walk to the pub but we’ll have our climbing gear with us, just in case.

    Unless the forecast improves dramatically in the next 24 hours, my proposed travel plan will be Rock City Hull on Saturday, followed by a classic traverse of some trad York Pubs, and a restorative curry. Final decision to be made in the Fox on Thursday.

    I’m seriously thinking of sacking the whole trip (just like last year !!!) and using the available time to go cragging in the spring like weather which is forcasted, followed by a drinkathon as per Matt’s suggestion. That way I cut my losses and retain browny points for when the winter conditions improve in Scotland. I think I’ll go to Harrogate on Thursday and see you all in t’Fox at 1000.

    D-Day Thursday, spring like weather sounds very appealing.
