    The mingin’ weather forecasts mean a long drive north is not justified. Dolly and myself want to stretch our legs and the least bad weather looks like the eastern Dales on Sunday. We’ll still get our share of wind and hail though.
    As dog-owners Mr & Mrs Murray are in Teneriffe, and Nick has a bad knee, this might be a time for the dog-free zone of Simon’s Seat.
    Anyone else for this latest in an extraordinary series of weekend rambles ? !!

    We are keen to join you – we have a broken dog who is not fit for hills currently, so a dog-unfriendly walk is fine 🙂

    OK, grand. Simons Seat was a first idea. Might be worth studying latest forecasts tomorrow. I’ll be in touch about transport / RV
