The weather is gradually improving so this week there’s more optimism for outside activity.
Tuesday wll be an evening session at the Red Goat. I’ll be there at 5 and look forward to seeing others. I’ll be staying for a pizza after climbing.
On Wednesday I’m up for a climb at Scugdale if anyone else is available and interested. Aiming for a morning session through to mid-afternoon but can be flexible. Please let me know.
Thursday will be an afternoon and evening club climb at Almscliff. I can get there in mid-afternoon. There’s a committee meeting in the evening at the Fox so some of us will be leaving early. After-climbing pub venue for the remainder will be the Cricketers.
The weekend weather is also looking promising so feel free to make plans here or on WhatsApp. I’m going to be in the Lake District so will not be available for local climbing.
The following weekend of the 17th to 19th May is the Patterdale trip, organised by Oli B. There are a few places still available so if you would like to come along for walking, climbing or simply socialising please get in touch. First come, first served. Details are on the forum. Also a couple of those already going have not secured their place. Please pay your money asap.
