This week – 6th to 12th January 2025

Happy New Year everyone! It’s time to get back to a normal routine and to start preparing for winter trips. Great to see that there’s already some winter action taking place and well done to everyone that managed to get out over the festive season.

The week’s activities will start on Tuesday with a standard pizza at the Red Goat with a gentle session of climbing beforehand. I’ll be there at 5.

Thursday will be club climbing night at Harrogate. I expect to be there by 5 but may leave early and head to the Fox for 8pm. I’m not reserving the back room but encourage anyone to come along to either the wall or the pub and to start talking about winter weekends, borrowing gear, sharing lifts and general ideas for planned trips later this year.

The weekend ahead has nothing planned so far. WhatApp as normal if you want to get together.
