Thanks first of all to everyone that showed up to the AGM last Thursday. It was a good attendance and the minutes are already posted for members to see on the ‘membership’ section of the website.
This week will be the usual Tuesday evening session at the Red Goat. I’ll be there by 5pm. Pizza afterwards too. I believe a new menu is expected.
On Wednesday evening there will be the first of our new push for a weekly gathering at Freeklime, Clifton Moor. There are several members who cannot make Tuesday or Thursday evening club meetings so it will give another opportunity for people to meet up. Don’t forget that York MC members qualify for a discounted rate so have your digital membership card with you.
Thursday evening will be club climbing at Parthian Harrogate. I’m aiming to be there at about 5 but may be a bit later if collecting others enroute. After climbing we’ll be heading to the Cricketers.
For this weekend there is nothing specific planned at the moment. The first Sunday of the month is no longer a fixed club activity day. Please post ideas on WhatsApp or here if you want to get together with anyone for climbing or walking. The weather forecast at the moment is looking OK.
Next week will include the first Thursday of December. I’ll be at the Fox for 8pm finalising plans for the following Thursday (14th) which will be the Christmas Party. Please note that the daytime pre-Christmas-party climb will be at the Big Depot, Leeds then back to the Fox to start the traverse across to The House of the Trembling Madness, Lendal.
