There is an update to the website events calendar. All planned upcoming trips with dates are listed on the page and in addition there is a section for notices where any relevant information, emails or articles will be posted. Today I will be at the Red Goat for 5pm. Probably climbing until 7 and staying for the usual pizza afterwards.
Thursday will be Harrogate indoor climbing. I’ll be there early.
This weekend is the first Sunday of the month. The weather isn’t looking good for Sunday so an indoor climbing venue is likely. If there are any members who are new to roped climbing or want to gain confidence please get in touch and it may be possible to arrange a casual beginner session at Harrogate.
The following Thursday, the 5th, is the first of the month and the Knavesmire will hopefully still be open for our pub night. The latest I heard was the landlord will move out on the 21st of October. If anyone hears differently, please let me know.
The weekend beginning on the 6th of October is our second Wales trip. Fingers crosed for decent weather. The hut is in a brilliant location for all mountaineering activities.
