Tuesday is the usual social session at the Red Goat. I’ll be there at about 5pm and staying for pizza afterwards. Hoping to meet a prospective new member too.
Thursday club climbing will be at Harogate Wall. Expecting to head into the Cricketers after climbing, however, the venue will be confirmed at the wall. I can be there at about 4 to be ahead of the traffic.
The weekend ahead was pencilled in as a possible Scotland trip for me and a few others. The weather forecast and melting snow isn’t filling us with confidence so the jury is still out. If anyone else has plans for indoor or outdoor activity, please post here or on WhatsApp.
I’ve added a post onto the events page to promote the Banff film festival dates. Anyone interested in going can let others know. A group of six or more can qualify for discounted entry.
The payment of the balance (£44) for the Skye trip is due by the end of January.
The club has booked the Raven Crag Hut in Langdale for the first weekend in July (4th to 6th). The trip will be open for booking in a couple of weeks when details are posted on the forum.
