    Sunday 8th is Remembrance Sunday and on a number of occasions we have gone to Great Gable where the Fell & Rock Club organise a 2 minutes silence at the summit of the mountain at 11.00 am. This is usually attended by about 500 hillgoers …… afterwards its surprising how quickly the crowd is absorbed by the landscape as they all go their separate ways to find a full hill day.
    My own plans are not quite certain this year as I have a commitment to my son and his girlfriend. However they may well be interested in Gable depending on the forecast. I think Linda & Mike are possibles. So I am starting this thread for discussion if anyone else is available / interested.
