Angela and I are contemplating a trip north, in case anyone else fancies a little Highland hill-going. Flexible and weather-dependent, the focus is to reduce the number of Munro summits which Angela has not yet visited. We will probably set out on Saturday 23rd and be back on the evening of Tuesday 26th latest.

On possibility is Beinn a’ Chreachain near Bridge of Orchy, followed by a walk through the Steall gorge by Ben Nevis to camp by the wire bridge and then Sgurr Choinnich Mor (westernmost of Grey Corries). If the weather drives us east, it might be to Braemar to walk in to Derry Lodge, camp, and then Derry Cairngorm and Beinn Bhrotain / Monad Mhor.

If anyone else is interested, let me know. (It might be necessary to take an extra vehicle as Angelas car is not large).
