SATURDAY 1ST FEBRUARY

The weekend weather forecast is rubbish over all the major hills. So a few of us are heading to the Peak District tomorrow, where things are least poor. I’m intending to do a walk with some optional scrambling opportunities at Higger Tor etc. Saturday in the Peak may be largely dry, and we’ll be at somewhat lower levels so hopefully not taking the strongest winds or any low cloud. (Fingers crossed for better things in Scotland next weekend).
Leaving York 8.30 am home for teatime. Anyone lese interested let me know.
