    I have a free day (sort of) and will be heading to Rock City for the day. I have to drop off some paperwork at Humberside airport so will set off earlier, picking up Loch at his place (Stockton Lane) at 8am to give us as much time at the wall as poss. Opening time is at 10. Ideally I will take one or two more to spread the load with Matthew. I will be coming into York from Easingwold via Clifton Green to collect Loch so if anyone is handy for picking up en-route please give me a call and we can make plans. My mobile 07740 597877. When we get back I’ll be dropping the car near the Knavesmire and heading straight to the pub for a beer or II.

    I’ve now booked tomorrow off work and will come along!

    Matt’s original post said “Meet 8.30 – 9.00 at the Knavesmire”. Which is fine, but it’s quite a big window to aim for.

    Google Maps says that to get there at 10am, we want to leave the Knavesmire at 0840, and drive almost to Selby then onto the A63.

    So: shall we aim for the Knavesmire at 0830 for an 0840 departure?

    I hope everyone has a good climb at Rock City Hull – one of my favourite climbing centres and one that I have been to many times since it’s opening.
    I have another Osteopath session tomorrow, and look forward to seeing everyone at The Knavesmire for a few drinks from about 7pm onwards. Remember that there will be a light buffet kindly provided by Stuart the Landlord.

    8.30 is good for me-is it the kmavesmire pub we’re meeting at yeah? I’m excited! Is there good food there or is a packed lunch the best shout?
    I live on Micklegate so I presume thats not on your way Dave?

    08.30 at the Knavesmire. We wont leave anyone behind…(my mob:07968 399952)
    Rhianna, whilst the climbing at Hull is excellent the catering is “limited” so packing a snack might not be a bad idea…
