Hi all,
We have a hut booked by Dave for July 14th to 16th in Heathersage for some climbing and hillwalking. It’s a great spot for lots of trad climbing, including for those fairly new to climbing outdoors, if we have enough support from experienced climbers.
There’s space for 14 people in the hut and plenty of campsites around for more if there’s lots of interest. It will be £34 for two nights payable to the club. Let me know if you want a space and make the payment so I can keep track of numbers.
We can arrange lifts and climbing partners nearer the date.
Here is a link to the bunkhouse website. There is a map on their website but basically the place is just west of Hathersage within a couple of miles of both Stanage and Bamford edges. We’re in the Old Stables, 14 beds, kitchen etc.
