I’m trying to keep my legs waggling, as I’ll be stuck at home for a month from 22nd August owing to isolation around my wife’s hip op date.
So I am meeting my friend from Carlisle on Sunday. In search of quieter hills we shall eschew the Lakes and the central Dales, and might aim for Great Shunner Fell or Wild Boar Fell.
Would anyone else care to meet up in the northern Dales for such a walk ?
Sorry I can’t make this.
We are just back from a week in Swaledale and it was lovely and quiet up there – certainly on the hills, and not too bad in conurbations either. Enjoy!
