Next week and beyond. 2nd to 9th July

Wainstones tomorrow, the 2nd July. 10am start at the Clay Bank free car park. May be cool in the breeze but should be dry all day.

Tuesday will be Goating from 5pm.

Thursday the 6th will be first Thursday of July. The forecast at the moment is good for outdoor climbing so Almscliff will be the venue. I’ll head to the Knavesmire for 8pm and will be very pleased to see club members there. Steve G has offered to talk about what to carry for backpacking and will hopefully be at the pub with his rucksack. If not, I’ll bring mine.

There’s a post on WhatsApp about a possible trip to Scotland at the weekend. If you’re interested don’t hesitate, get in touch with Andrew or Steve M.

I can’t make Scotland but will go to the Lake District for a leg stretch on Saturday. Weather dependent but anticipate an early start, Skafell Pike and possibly shopping in Keswick and afternoon tea. Anyone interested, please let me know.
