    Certainly not worth to Scotland this weekend but lakes might be a goer for wintry ridge type fun.
    Any interest?
    Unfortunately there is a group booking at Cleveland MC ‘s hut so don’t have convenient accommodation to offer.

    I have been thinking a similar thought but in terms of a single day. Suspect Sunday might be a bit better than Saturday….. more detailed forecast tomorrow obviously

    I wouldn’t write off Scotland just yet. Take a look at the SE Highlands MWIS forecast for Saturday… Clearly careful route choice is required given likely avalanche risk, but a W facing ridge/buttress route could be good…

    Lakes Sunday looks acceptable to me. Current top of the head thought is pinnacle ridge on Great Gable (III). Open to suggestions and will have a gander through the winter guide tonight.
