    Chagrin is the word…. we’re calling off the Scotland weekend owing to the thunderstorms.
    The consolation prize will be a day in the Lakes on Sunday, for which there is a good forecast. Eagle Crag, Grisedale, is quite a long Grade 2 scramble and something like that will tempt us. Two spaces in my car for interested parties.
