    Are you guys going to be there for the whole day on Friday 28th? As I’ve now realised I’m supposed to be at a wedding celebration on the Saturday evening.

    SATURDAY MEAL NOTICE.
    Marjan has very kindly offered to cook an Iranian meal.
    The Meal Deal is that each person wishing to eat this, should give Marjan £10. Any surplus will be either refunded or placed safely in the Wine Fund.

    So if you are booked in the hut, or otherwise wish to join in the meal, please contact Marjan and nip round to hers with your tenner AT THE LATEST by TUESDAY 25th please. Sorry about the slightly short notice, c’est la vie, but it is only practical to provide food for those who pay beforehand.

    Isn’t it about time we started organising transport arrangements for next weekend?

    I have booked a day off on Friday, and am looking at potentially heading up on Friday morning and getting in a day on the hill (of some kind)
    I have plenty of space in my car to carry 2 or even three more people if required.

    Let me know if you want to share a lift or alternatively shout your plans so we make sure everyone going has a solid and sustainable transport plan in place. (apart from anything else, the Hut doesn’t have limitless parking spaces iirc)

    I shall be an Independent Traveller as I am running a day for Scouts in the North York Moors on Friday so I’ll wend my way to Patterdale whenever that finishes.
