    Does anybody fancy a hill day in t’Lakes on Saturday ?
    The MWIS forecast is giving good weather but followed by rain coming on Sunday and weather going downhill next week.

    The plan as fully developed by 11 pm last night is

    (a) Meet at Tenks house at 8 am

    (b) Have heated debate about what route to walk whilst driving up the A1.

    I will collect you at 7.25 am for the drive to Boroughbridge.
    Onward transport is by Dave’s car which Sparky will be driving.

    I will be ready at 07.25.
    I will bring all 4 OS 1:25,000 maps of the Lakes.
    I have seen Sparky participate in driving before. He is quite competent (as long as Dave is in charge of the pedals).

    Having seen the lunchtime weather forecast on BBC NE & Cumbria, I hope the maps are waterproof. Lol.
    The forecast is for heavy showers. Admittedly this is better than Sunday which can best be described ad a “duvet day”.
