Given the bad weather forecast for most of the weekend has scuppered plans for late season winter climbing in Scotland, Maria and I are thinking of heading to the Lake District tomorrow for some rock climbing. Not sure where yet, but the idea is something south facing, quick drying and probably fairly low down, as it has been raining over there today and there’s still some old melting snow on the higher fells. We’ll be at the pub tonight and can discuss then in case anyone else has similar plans.
