Kettlewell Hike – Late April / Early May

Following the Ribblehead Hut Trip organised by Emma (https://www.yorkmc.org.uk/ribblehead-hut-trip-09-11-feb-2024/), the idea came up for a follow-up walking trip.

The plan is to set camp in Kettlewell late April / Early May (aiming for the weekends 20-04, 27-04 or 11-05; the exact date will be guided by the weather gods), with the objective to walk the 21-mile Warfedale Three Peaks: https://hillexplorer.com/wharfedale-three-peaks/
Instead of camping and doing the entire thing, it’s also possible to do a daytrip and go for a single peak and meet at the pub afterwards (I can share some nice walks on Great Wernside, Kirk Fell and Buckden Pike described in the Dales 30 book).

So far it’s me, Emma, and Dave C, so potentially there will also be a whisky tasting session. Let us know if you’re interested and we’ll try to coordinate something!
