KEEPING IN TOUCH

Dear Everyone,

As we move into these sad months of restricted social contact, it may be helpful for everyone to know that York MC handily has a WhatsApp group open to Members. I am in other such groups, and I find it can be nice to see mates burbling on, even inconsequential stuff. We are gregarious as a species, so isolation goes against our grain.
The York MC WhatsApp group was started by Nathan so hats off and many thanks for that, to Nathan. If you wanna be in it, please let him know, confirming your phone number. I believe Penny is also an admin for it.

A small piece of info to pass on, is that the National Trust has said that whilst it is closing its cafes and houses etc, it will “keep as many of our gardens and parklands open, free of charge, alongside coast and countryside, to encourage the nation to enjoy open space, while observing social distancing measures. “

So you can walk in the open spaces and shout encouragement to your friends nearby.
