The talk in our house has turned to Hair.

Yes back in the day, long ago before t’virus when most current Members were in nappies, we all used to have lots of it.
1973 June 7th Waddington Fell copy
And of course, we went to see the musucal “Hair” with its hit song “This is the Dawning of the Age of Aquarius”.
I saw it in Manchester in 1971.

As many Members may have noticed, I still occasionally achieve big-ish hair with my white mop. Often this is marked by a comment from Mr Diggle that I am looking like a deity. I cannot guess whether the picture in his mind at such times is based on the Sistine Chapel ……..
    MICH GOD

Although I quite like Blake’s Urizen, measureing the earth. (Being a Surveyor myself, see ?)
    urizen
But sadly, no sooner have I achieved “floating halo” than the whole thing goes to pot and overnight it changes character into a bedraggled mass urgently in need of shearing.

This problem seems (dare I say it) to be more on the minds of certain sections of our species than others. My missis has ordered special sharp scissors on t’internet, and they are now on their way.
What will be the outcome ???

Perhaps we will all have outcomes in the coming weeks.

I am reminded of Crosby Stills Nash and Young which a friend used to play at University

    “Almost cut my hair
It happened just the other day
I could have said it was kinda long
I could have said it was getting’ in my way

    But I didn’t and I wonder why.
Fell like letting my free flag fly
    And I feel
    That I owe it
    Somone…..

    ……………………..
But I’m not givin’ in an inch to fear
Cos I promised myself this year…
    And I feel
    That I owe it
    Somone…..

Worth 3 minutes of your time, possibly ANDREW
