HILL DAY SUNDAY 16 APRIL

Angela and I are off up the hills on Sunday. If anyone would like to join, please get in touch.

Plans are flexible. Might go to Lake District. But if the weather is rather cloudier in the west, might go to Ingleton. A small and inconsequential idea is that whilst I’ve been up Whernside numerous times, its always (I think) been from the viaduct or Hill Inn. The ridge SW to Twistleton Scars seems to beckon, 6 km long. So Ingleborough and Whernside from the west would be a novelty, with quite a good number of contours to cross….
