HALF PRICE MOUNTAIN FIRST AID 2017

I am intending as usual to offer a Mountain First Aid Course (REC Level 2) in the autumn. Some CURRENT First Aid knowledge is IMO pretty well a duty to other people you might be with in remote locations. This year there will be several certificates expiring from the 2014 course …. Mike / Maria / Catherine / Simon Weston / Tenko and myself. Additionally, we were sadly not able to make the numbers for autumn 2016, but Caroline, Marjan, Neil and Henry expressed interest. (I think Richard and Sarah probably got fixed up elsewhere). (?)
Hence we could have up to 10 possibles in the Club to start with and so I have high hopes that, as in many years previously, we’ll be able to run a full course of 12.

In case anyone is anxious to do a course at an earlier date, I should also say that I’ve been contacted by York Canoe Club who are running a course in York on 6th-7th May and are looking for candidates to fill it, at a cost of £84 per head. I can put you in touch if anyone wants this date instead of ours.
