For information, there has been a BMC Area Clubs Committee meeting tonight which included comment on the position from Monday 29th March (Stage 1 step 2 is it ?)
The simple thing is that the Rule of Six will apply outdoors. So one option is to stay in small groups and use common sense.
There is also a procedure which will allow Meets of more than six. This will require written Risk Assessments, attendance records to be kept, (fror Track & Trace) and a pre-meet briefing to be given. Full details available from BMC.
Exact final details are not being issued by Govt/Sport England till Thursday.
There was no comment on travelling. At present, I think, the basic rule is Stay at Home.
If that gets replaced by “Stay Local” then people can have another delightful excursion into what is meant by plain English. Last autumn the NY Moors were said by police not to be local to York. So we’ll have to see……
