For Sale – Stubai Technical Axes

Calling all would-be winter mountaineers.

I have a pair of technical winter climbing axes (well used but serviceable) for sale. They are the standard Stubai curved axes, but with a small modification in the form of a petzl pinky grip attached to the bottom of the shafts to assist with those “hanging around” moments that sometimes happen. Happy to bring down to the wall or the pub for inspection etc. Please let me know if you are interested.

I want 60 quid for the pair. You will not find any technical axes cheaper than that.

The bumps, scrapes, and scratches on them come at no extra charge and can be regarded as “desirable vintage patina”. They feature in a number of historical trip reports on this very website, so can be regarded as historical artefacts.

Please let me know if you are interested and I will bring them along to the wall / pub.
