I am going to start thinking on El Chorro trip 2025 edition.
Could you please let me know if you are interested? There were 8 slots last year, but I’m considering extending to 12 or 16 in 2025.
If we are more than 8, it would potentially mean ditching olive branch and booking a country house for the club (everything still up in the air).
A few details:
Date – will be November (NOT in half term), it will be a long weekend, either Thursday to Monday or Friday to Tuesday.
Cost – the trip has costed in the range of £450 last two editions. This included everything, from flights & accommodation, to car hire, and food/beer/wine. Note that this figure is an approximate from the last two years and not a commitment for 2025, it might be more expensive based on what price we get.
What do we do – Mostly sport climbing (all levels). Plenty of easy stuff to go at. There is a via ferrata that is worth doing (can hire kit locally) and caminito del rey (a walk through the gorge that has to be booked in advance)
