    We’ve had a good run of trips over the first half of this year, so I was looking at arranging another one for the autumn. Would anyone be interested in a trip on either 1/2 October or 15/16 October?

    And if you are interested, what’s your preferred location? I was thinking Lakes / Southern Highlands / Wales, but happy to accept suggestions…

    Once I have an idea of numbers and preferred location, I’ll look at what’s available.

    I would be up for this. Preferred location: Southern Highlands (By The Way at Tyndrum is an excellent venue, But Lakes would be cool too (“Dave’s Hut”, or the unfindable place in patterdale) … esp if we get a spot of Indian Summer.

    We haven’t been to North Wales for a long time and thus could be an option for accommodation.

    I wonder if achieving consensus by some kind of online “referendum” is the right approach. I propose that a much more workable decision about destination and venue should be an educated and informed choice made by our existing democratically elected legislative chamber…(just saying).
