Yes you are reading that correctly. Thanks to the eagle-eyed Brian Tucker who came across the item on Ebay whilst seeking something else, we have acquired a copy of the York MC programme of 51 years ago, in the form of a pocket-size booklet. There are lots of small points of interest, such as the fact that in those days there was a printing works on Stonegate – now all tourist shops of course – , and a presumption that there would regularly be sufficient snow for ski-ing to take precedence.
I’ve put images of the programme at the appropriate time point on the Club History page (Home/ About York MC / Club History )
We’ll work out later where to keep the original if anyone has a thirst to handle it
