The design that was discussed at the pub was:
– A small circular logo from the old York MC badge on the front left hand chest bit (with the words “York Mountaineering Club” underneath the picture, and the ski removed from the logo to make it less busy).
For those who haven’t seen it on the club history page the logo is a rope around an ice axe & a ski in front of the Matterhorn (which is where the founder had the idea to form the club).
– A larger print of the modern logo (the one at the top left of this page) on the back.
Colours – not sure. Blue and white because it’s Yorkshire? Or something else?
Does anyone else have any thoughts?
