    With a fine and relatively still evening in prospect, a visit to Scugdale is proposed. More accessible than Wainstones, fewer midges than Brimham, significantly less polished than Almscliff, and minimal graffiti than compared to Ilkley.

    Dave and I will be departing from the Knavesmire at around 16.15. Lift space available if you need. Please shout.

    Anyone else heading that way or elsewhere? – please broadcast your plans
