Climbing Thursday 5th of May

Hi all. Club climbing on the 5th of May will be at Almscliff….weather permitting. It’s the first Thursday of the month so after climbing we’ll be heading into York to the Knavesmire pub.

Not all members are fortunate enough to be able to make it to Almscliff but may venture to the Red Goat or Energise before heading to the pub. All are most welcome to the pub, climbing or not.

It’s the only Knavesmire night before the Wales trip so if possible it would be good to see everyone who booked onto that trip and get a sense of what objectives are being aimed for. Social objectives, lift sharing and possible climbing or walking partners are likely to be on the agenda too so meeting with your fellow club members at the pub will help to make your weekend in Wales an even more successful and enjoyable venture.

I’ll be at the Knavesmire by 9pm. Others may be there earlier.

On Thursday afternoon I’ll be able to go to Almscliff at any time after 2pm. I can offer a lift if anyone else is available to head to the crag for an early start. Please let me know if you’re interested.
