    Does anyone have any preferences for where we go? I’ll probably have spent most of the day at Alsmcliff with work (it’s terrible, I know) but will be happy to go back or go elsewhere.

    After an interesting stroll up there last night, does anyone fancy Hagg Wood up by Richmond? As I found out last night, it’s a good place to shelter from a thunderstorm (!)…

    Some of the climbing looked fun (it’s all single pitch) with a good range of grades. It’s a bit green in parts and parking and the approach is a bit of a faff but other than that it looks fun.

    Hi everyone, wondering where we going tonight Hagg wood or Almscliff?
    I will bring my rope just incase its needed.. Would like to do my first lead climb.

    Me and Dave are heading to Almscliff (ease of parking, lack of faff, and the fact that I am in Leeds today!) … eta 5.00pm.

    OK Almscliff it is I do like it there, I would probably arrive at 6:15ish.
    I will have a look for you when I arrive.
