Climbing Thursday 20th October

Climbing on Thursday the 20th is at the usual Harrogate Wall. I’m hoping to be there in the afternoon sometime and expect to go to the Cricketers afterwards.

New and potential club members are invited to come along, meet up with everyone and have a go at climbing. Please let us know if you’re coming so we can meet up and supervise where necessary.

Next week is the York Mountaineering Club Annual General Meeting. The AGM will be held at the Knavesmire pub in York, starting at 8pm. The club now has 72 members and this is the first time we have been able to hold a full meeting since the pandemic. Please make an effort to attend and get involved in how the club is run. There are standard issues to be discussed such as membership and finances. However, most importantly the committee would like to know your thoughts so we can best deliver the kind of mountaineering activities that will engage our members into the coming year.
