Climbing and Pub – Thursday 1st Sep

It’s the first Thursday of the month this week so after climbing it would be great to see a turnout at the Knavesmire. I’ll be at the pub from 8pm and happy to meet all members, new and not so new plus anyone interested in joining York Mountaineering Club.

Thursday evening climbing is now indoors due to the short evenings so Harrogate climbing wall (https://parthianclimbing.com/harrogate/) is the venue. I aim to be there by about 5pm to beat the traffic and because I will be leaving early for the pub. If anyone else wants to start early please let me know. Most others I assume will be arriving nearer to 6 or later. Please post on here or WhatsApp if you’re going and especially so if you have a spare seat, need a lift or are new to the club or climbing wall and will need an introduction.

Some club climbers may decide to remain in York at the Red Goat or Energise. Please let folks know so others may join you.
