    Dear Fellow York MC members

    Please see the email below received today regarding Banff 2018!

    Just a note for those of you that are really keen, Banff is also at the Barbican on Wednesday 14th March and will be showing the ‘Blue’ Film Programme – Harrogate is showing the ‘Red’ Programme on Thursday 22 February, so you can go to both! Go to the website listed below for the line up – both programmes look great.

    It’s adventure time! This is a quick email to invite you and your group to the Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour, coming to the Royal Hall, Harrogate, on Thursday 22 February.

    The event features a collection of brand-new films starring the world’s top adventurers and most fearless film-makers in the most isolated corners of the planet! In this adrenaline-packed night out, expect spectacular cinematography, extreme expeditions and inspirational characters all coming at you through the big screen. A great social night out for your group.

    The show starts at 7.30pm, doors and the bar open an hour beforehand, and there are discounts on tickets for groups of six and more.

    Last year a group of us went. It was an excellent and inspiring selection of films – a really good night.

    I’d be up for going again. Anyone else?

    For groups of 6+ the tickets are £12.90 each.
    And just to reiterate the details above – it is at the Barbican, York, Weds 14 March.

    Yes it was a great night last year. I am definitely interested, in fact I am thinking about going to both nights should anyone else be interested in that?

    Lets hope as many go as last year.

    Dear York MC Members

    I am planning to go to both Harrogate and York Banff evenings this year as I am interested in seeing both the Red and Blue programmes. If anyone else is wanting to go to both or one, let me know and I will block book tickets for us to go as a group.

    Focusing on Harrogate first: its at the Royal Hall on Thursday 22nd February and starts at 19.30 with the doors opening at 18.30. Therefore, I am planning to go to Harrogate Climbing wall for approximately 16.00 and then onto the event for 19.00. We can either go to the wall as a group or meet at the Royal Hall. Let me know you’re thoughts and who’s in??

    We’ll arrange York which is 14th March at the end of this month.

    Thanks Penny – I will prob be up for the York one but not Harrogate. Also worth checking out http://www.kendalmountaintour.com/harrogate2018 – on 1st Mar. Also clashes with climbing but looks good
