It’s with Selby BSAC. I’m going along from York BSAC. There are 3 places still available. There will (probably) be a minibus leaving Selby approx 4pm on the Friday. The info from them:

    Hi All,

I’m from Selby BSAC, and I’ve organised a trip to Dorset on the weekend of 25/26 November, there are 4 spaces left on the boat so if anyone is interested all are welcome.

The main wreck we are hoping to dive is HMS M2, and then weather dependent the skipper will put us on other wrecks as he sees fit, one of which will probably be the St Dunstan.
It’s open to anyone of sports diver or equivalent and upwards as the depth will be approx 35m to the sea bed.

Diving is with Keith from west bay charters, fully equipped hard boat. 2 dives Saturday, 2 dives Sunday. The cost is £500 per day dependent on number of people on board, so far I have 8 confirmed so if 2 join us to make 10 then it will be £50 per day per person, if we get the full 12 it will be slightly cheaper. Accommodation is separate but we are all staying in the Durbeyfield guest house which is local to west bay charters, but it’s up to you to sort that out. We are going down Friday night coming back Sunday.

It operates on a first come first served, a £50 deposit will be needed to stop people letting us down last minute, but if the skipper calls the dives with it being blown out then we will get a full refund. (Accommodation is at your own risk) although the skipper said he can usually get us in the water somewhere even if it’s too rough to dive further out to sea.

Howard Rawson is coming with us, an instructor from our club so if there are any sports divers who need the final depth progression signing off then he is happy to do that, obviously with permission from your own instructor/DO

Think that’s everything if you’re interested give me a shout should be a great weekend with an opportunity to see a completely unique wreck if the weather is kind to us! Don’t hesitate to contact me with any query’s”
